Individual Consultations w/Kim Wright
Individual Consultations w/Kim Wright
Saturday, October 29, 2022, or Saturday, November 19, 2022, 20-minute consultations between 1pm-6pm ET. In-Person or on Zoom.
WE’VE ADDED ADDITIONAL INDIVIDUAL CONSULTATIONS WITH KIM WRIGHT!
See below for bundle discount for students also registering for Kim Wright’s “The Muddy Middle” or “Sticking the Landing” workshops.
In this 20-minute individual consultation (in person or on Zoom), Kim Wright, author of six published novels, including the award-winning LAST RIDE TO GRACELAND, will read your first three pages, or three pages of your catalyst scene, looking for that wow factor, and evaluate the short description you’ll use to attract the attention of editors and agents. Come prepared with your three pages, printed and ready for a quick read, and a 1-2 minute “elevator pitch” for your novel (Zoom participants will receive instructions on where to email their pages).
In-person participants will receive their assigned time and location of the Consults when we get closer to the date; Zoom participants will receive a Zoom link at that time as well.
Students who have registered and paid for Kim Wright’s “The Muddy Middle” or “Sticking the Landing” workshops may purchase a discounted consultation ticket for $20 off by entering promo code WRIGHT20 at checkout. Limit: one use of promo code per student.
NOTE: For the safety of all FWR participants, masks will be required at all indoor IN-PERSON FWR workshops and events. In addition, you must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination, including at least one FDA-approved booster shot, to attend any IN-PERSON workshop. Instructions for submitting proof of vaccination will be provided in your order confirmation.
